The focal is a stunning pendant featuring a flying amphiptere dragon on a hematite donut. It hangs on sturdy waxed cotton cord strung with metal and hematite beads, tibetan silver tooth charms, and finished with chain and a metal toggle clasp.

An amphiptere is a type of dragon resembling a legless winged serpent. Most often these creatures possess feathered wings, especially in the Americas. However, those with bat wings were depicted in European Heraldry. As with most dragons, amphipteres are are reputed to possess great wisdom and fantastic powers. Some believe they are guardians flying on the Astral plane.
